Screenings and Vaccinations

To further our goal of global hepatitis B eradication, the Asian Liver Center organizes and hosts various screening events around the San Francisco Bay Area. At these events, patients are offered hepatitis B screenings and low-cost vaccinations. ALC staff members, working in collaboration with college interns and volunteers from local communities and high schools , make these events possible. Pictures below offer a glimpse of what happens at our screenings. Please see our Santa Clara County Hep B Free Screenings and Vaccinations Flyer (English and Chinese) for more information on our screening and vaccination events in San Jose, CA.

Cultural Festivals

The Asian Liver Center proudly unites with communities around the Bay Area to spread awareness and offer culturally sensitive education. Each festival serves the need of a particular ethnic population while simultaneously celebrating its unique culture. See below for event highlights of the past few years.

Educational Workshops

Click here for information on community workshops, which include the Youth Leadership Conference and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Symposium.

The Asian Liver Center could not reach so many people or carry out so many programs if it were not for the hard work of the college student outreach interns who join our staff during the academic year and the summer. They put a lot of time and effort into our projects, working late nights and weekends with a fantastic attitude. We give deepest thanks to all of our interns, past and present. You will be a part of the ALC family forever!
